!!! Another Ear Infection !!!!

I'm sure most of you know that Rylan has had ear infections all of his life!!! He got tubes in his ears when he was 10 months old. They helped for a while, but one came out about 10 months ago. About three or four weeks ago he got a really bad ear infection over the weekend and his ear drum ruptured. So we took him in and got him on medication and drops and he was back to normal. Well, we've all been fighting a cold this last week and I was afraid that he might get another ear infection from it... he did!!! On Saturday night as he was going to sleep he informed me that his ear hurt and he wanted medicine (he loves medicine). Needless to say, I didn't take him all that seriously and put him to bed. By Sunday he had a full blown ear infection.. and his last tube came out with it.

On Monday his Grandma Dee and Grandma Jo were so incredibly helpful in taking care of him and getting him to the doctor. Poor Grandma Dee had to go to two different pharmacies, three times, to get all of his prescriptions! He still can't go back to Miss Julie's until his fever drops. This picture is him and dad playing 'monster trucks' on the wii during one of his short lived playful moments while he is sick. Thank you again Grandma Dee and Grandma Jo for all of you loving support and help!!!

Rylan, Peyton and Avery

Summer feels like it is here! Here is Rylan once again playing with the neighbors (Peyton and Avery) all night long. As you can see it is dark outside and he still refuses to come in for his bath! I remember looking at Greg this winter and saying that I missed the fights that we had with Rylan last summer when we used to tell him it was time to come inside.... I lied!!! This particular night reminded me exactly how much he loves to be outside! He is definitely not a lazy kid!

Rylan's 'spend the night!'

Dana had tickets to the Jazz playoff game on Saturday so PJ came and stayed with us that night while she went. He was such a cute kid!!! I am not sure if Greg or Rylan had more fun hanging out with him. He played the Wii with Greg and drove around in Rylan's new 'truck' with him. This is just a cute picture of PJ and Rylan eating ice cream cake watching me and Greg and Grandma play the Wii.

-- Catching Frogs For Rylan--

So Greg has poker night once a week... and I usually enjoy my night alone with Rylan. But this particular night I was irritated with Greg for going to poker, still not sure why. I took Ry on a walk down the trail behind our house to waste some time and get some fresh air... well last time me and Greg took him on a walk down the trail we heard frogs and Ry really wanted to go catch some. So this time as me and Ry were walking we heard them again. I was trying to convince him that they were a part of nature and we can not go catch them. About 30 seconds after that, our neighbors (that were coming home from their walk)came running up to us to show us the frog that their dad had caught them! Needless to say I was even more upset with Greg at that very moment (sorry honey)! So I promised Ry that the next night daddy would take him to catch a frog and 'would not come home' until he had. Well, here is Greg the next night trying to catch a frog... he came home and we still don't have a frog! Stay tuned for this weekend when Greg really won't be able to come home with out one!

~Our Garden~

What can I say... I guess we have a green thumb! This picture is 11 days after our last garden post where we were just planting seeds. Only 11 days and our beans are already over 6 inches tall.

And these ones are getting so big too. These are our squash and cucumbers and such. I am waaayyyy to excited over this!

HAPPY EASTER RYLAN!

I was so excited to get him this car for Easter! Our neighbors have one and he constantly makes them drive him around in it. The look on his face when he saw it on Easter morning was priceless! He made us go for a walk down the trail that night and he drove his car. I've never seen a happier boy!!!

Rylan fresh out of bed with his Easter basket and trash truck.

And hunting for eggs again with Grandma

-- Huntin' for eggs --

We went to the log cabin and did our Easter egg hunt on Saturday. And of course as soon as we hid the eggs it started to rain. None of the kids seemed to mind though!

This tree was so cute! Shilo had an excellent idea to get all of the kids in it for a picture, but as you can see they weren't really cooperating.

And cute little Kylee wanted nothing to do with the tree so I got her picture all by her self.

**Evening Walks**

It was pretty nice weather today! I think we all have spring fever. We took a walk down the nature trail after dinner. We got about three minutes down the trail before Ry was asking me to hold him so I decided to run back and get the stroller. That worked out great!

We saw deer on our walk... well I saw deer anyways. The sun was starting to go down so they were blending in pretty good. Poor Rylan was so upset that he couldn't see them. I tried to show take a picture and show him. You still can't really see them in this picture, but I tried.

~Starting Our Garden~

We planted our seeds for our garden this weekend. We are starting them inside in a little 'green house' that we bought. When we started by adding the soil to the tray, Rylan is so afraid of being dirty that he freaked out and made us clean his hands every few seconds.

He really enjoyed helping daddy stick the pen into each block for our seeds.

Here is our finished product. We have to keep them inside under the lid until they sprout. Greg keeps laughing at me because I keep watching them like they are already sprouting even though we only planted them 24 hours ago.

And of course after Rylan needed a treat for all of his hard work!

First Spring Day

This was the first nice day that we had this year. Shilo, Grandma, Krissy and I all decided to take the kids to the zoo (so did every other person in Utah). It was a fun and exhausting day. Guess what... Rylan was convinced this was yet another party for him! Surprise.

Disney On Ice

This was a really fun day! Again Rylan thought that it was his 'Party' since there were other kids coming. Grandma SPOILED all of the kids that day! This is a picture right before we went in.

* Dinosaur Park *

We went to Dinosaur Park. Rylan was excited to go with his cousins and Kaylee. He was convinced that it was 'his party'. When we went into the museum that has moving dinosaurs inside however, he was not quite as spunky. My mom and Keadan were trying to coax him in.

- Too Smart For His Own Good -

This is how he reaches Candy or anything else that he is not supposed to have now. I finally put this car in the garage a few weeks ago. He resorted to dragging the bench or getting his steps that he uses to brush his teeth.

Good time in Loa

We love to go to Shilo and Kenny's cabin in Loa. It is such a cute little town and they ride four wheelers all over. this is Greg and Rylan on Super Bowl Sunday.

Murray Christmas!

What a spoiled little boy!

Happy Thanksgiving 2008

We had a nice cozy Thanksgiving at home!
